The performance on June 23 will be sensory-friendly.

This is the classic story of Belle, a young woman in a provincial town, and the Beast, who is really a young prince trapped under the spell of an enchantress. If the Beast can learn to love and be loved, the curse will end and he will be transformed into his former self. But time is running out. If the Beast does not learn his lesson soon, he and his household will be doomed for all eternity.

Based on the Academy Award-winning animated Disney feature, this is family theater at its best!

COVID-19 PRECAUTIONS - please read
We take the health of our cast, staff and patrons very seriously. All involved must remain healthy for the show to go on.
Vaccinations are highly recommended but not required. However, the Playhouse and Limelight are public indoor spaces with patrons in close proximity to one another. SVCT requires, regardless of vaccination status, that all patrons must wear a mask inside the theater and theater lobby areas unless actively drinking or eating.
We count on our audience members to self-monitor. If you experience Covid-19 symptoms or receive a positive Covid-19 test, please alert our Box Office volunteers at [email protected] and/or call 408-842-7469 at least three (3) hours before curtain so we can exchange your tickets.

   The cast was AMAZING. I was given this as a gift for my birthday and I could not have asked for a better gift then my favorite all time Disney movie. Thank you for making to memorable. It was the best evening ever with my husband.

   Everything about it was top quality. Vocalists were so professional. The actors were great, the orchestra was tremendous, sets, costumes, all of it was very well done. Don't forget the lobby. They went over the top to make that fun.

   Incredible cast. Fantastic set and costumes. Lovely little theater. I could hear almost every word. It was the most stunning performance of Beauty and the Beast I have ever seen. I liked it better than the movie. Even better than the live action Broadway version. I can't believe this was a community theater production. Tickets were a steal for an event this amazing. I. Loved. It. I hope these producers and directors do more like this.

   I brought my nine year old grand daughter and she and I loved the show. I am not typically a musical enthusiast but wow the entire cast was fantastic. The background, the music was also incredible. Of course Belle and the Beast were great as well as the entire cast. I have to say Gaston was incredible and Lumiere was off the charts talented. Both brought incredible energy to the show! We will certainly be coming back for other shows.

How did you like event?

   Great show but too long, especially for kids. I think the 1st half was like 80 minutes. My kids ages 10 and 13 were ready to go home before intermission even happened. Show started 8 pm got out 1045 pm. Most kids productions are 90 minutes.

 This was my first community play and first production for my 5 and 6 y/o girls. They sat through the entire production. It also helped that we knew someone in the cast. Please thank the cast and crew for their hard work!
