Join us for the main event, Bastille on Bishop, from 6-10pm on Friday, July 14, 2023, as the revolution continues in the heart of Bishop Arts…

Bastille Day is the perfect occasion to don your best beret and join your friends for a little wine and dancing in the streets. Enjoy LIVE music this year as you sip wine and stroll through the Oak Cliff Champs-Élysées.

Roaming this Oak Cliff festival is free. Your only expense is what you eat, drink, or buy when shopping in Bishop Arts, or in the pop-up markets. 

Ticket packages come with a wine glass and tokens. Beer and wine require 1 token.

Bastille Day is the French National Holiday that celebrates the storming of the Bastille—a military fortress and prison—on July 14, 1789, in an uprising that helped usher in the French Revolution.

   Less French restaurants and activities than in previous years, felt more like a street market, but still fun.

How did you like the event?

 It was very hot and there weren't as many vendors as we have seen at past Bastille Day festivals. It would potentially be really beneficial to either start the celebrations a little closer to sunset and/or add fans + misters around the street to help people stay a little cooler! Overall a fun event, but would like to see more drink and vendor options in the future!

   Loved it. Even though it was hotter than hell, it was enough of a breeze and shops to go into that were air-conditioned that we stayed comfortable. Food was awesome as was the wine. Everybody seem to be having a great time. This is our second year.
