Very good play. The cast was phenomenal!

 The Piano Lesson was a profound exploration of fulfilling a bold legacy and reclaiming your self-worth through the use of humor and heart in equal measure. Under the masterful direction of Baptiste & Bullock, the time-honored text was brought to vibrant life due to the strong, multi-layered performances of the entire cast. As always, every single theatrical element worked in unison to deliver a production that was emotionally cathartic in the best way possible. Job well done!

 The Actors were astonishing. Very very good acting! Bravo! However, up front, yall said there would be stobe lights only…..however, this story was VERY racial. But the worst part was, it was the lousiest story ever. At the end, my Friend and I said, what? Didn’t understand. This story should be shelved FOREVER. Love love love you guys though. Y’all rock.  It was a beautiful experience with a phenomenal cast. I loved every minute of it. I laughed and felt a deep connection to every character involved in the story. It made me feel like I was apart of the story. I can't wait until the next story is told. 5 stars!

 The cast conveyed a deeper meaning of the play through humor and great rapport with one another. You could tell that they worked hard and the set was awesome! Shout out to whoever did the art on the piano— excellent job! I thoroughly enjoyed the play and look forward to attending more Slidell Little Theatre.

 Best Acting by an Ensemble, Best Director, and Best Producer/Asst. Director AWARDS go to August Wilson's The Piano Lesson! This was by far the best straight play I have seen at Slidell Little Theatre. For an all volunteer community playhouse, this performance was tremendously acted and directed. I still wish the music, lights, and scenery could be better produced...but the price of the ticket doesn't allow to hire professionals in those fields. Well done.

 I loved it. It was reasonably priced and the perfect Sunday afternoon outing.
