An American Southern rock band formed in 1970 from the cream of Atlanta’s studio musicians. Hailing from Doraville GA, the iconic Atlanta Rhythm Section has withstood the test of time now celebrating their 54th anniversary

 

Often described as a more radio-friendly version of Lynyrd Skynyrd or the Allman Brothers, the Atlanta Rhythm Section is one of Southern rocks illustrious nobilty with their gold and platinum classic hits "So In To You" Champagne Jam, Imaginary Lover, Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight, Spooky.

 

The boys from Doraville bring their melodic magic to Rome Auditorium November 9th at 7:00pm Doors open at 6:00pm

How did you like the event?

 The venue was built before ADA and wasn’t real easy to enter or leave the people at the door want familiar where the ramps were. Also the seats for the wheelchair was not built for two wheelchairs ,we were in two wheelchairs in the G1,G2 seats and was lucky enough that the seat next to us was empty. Just a heads up on ADA compliance would be great.

 Lead singer so out of tune and his mic volume was lowered internally, it seems.

 Who ever runs the lighting portion of the show needs to be retrained. Constantly pointing the spotlights with bright white lights in the eyes of attendees is not enjoyable at all.

 Musicians were pretty good, singer not very good. Soundboard man set up in front of our seats and had to tell him to sit down and not block our view.

 The venue was very good and the band tries hard, but they really should perform under a name other than ARS. It’s a tribute band at this point and they sound nothing like ARS from their heyday. Nonetheless, we enjoyed the auditorium very much.
