Arturo Cid fue pionero en Granada no solo del jazz, sino también del rock: colaboró con TNT, Los Lagartos y La Guardia. Polifacético hasta niveles renacentistas, Cid simultanea la música con las actividades literarias como guionista de televisión y cine. Entre las primeras, cabe señalarle casi como ‘socio fundador’ del jazz en Granada con históricas y seminales formaciones como Jazzmín o Bop Hope. A su pasión por el jazz se suma, por supuesto, el blues y r&b más clásico, en la estela de T Bone Walker, Clarence Gatemouth Brown o Bill Doggett, y se viste de largo para este evento junto a un quinteto de músicos granadinos ya curtidos.
