A Night of Nostalgia with The Lincoln Jazz Group

Join us for A Night of Nostalgia with The Lincoln Jazz Group, where classic tunes from the Great American Songbook come to life. Lead by husband-and-wife Ken and Trina Lincoln, this show will celebrate the standards of the Great American Songbook that we all know and love. Trina is the lead vocalist with the New Groove Jazz Ensemble, a popular big band on the Northside of Brisbane of which Ken is MD. She performs regularly at the Brisbane Jazz Club and as a guest vocalist for the Brisbane Big Band. In 2023, she performed at the Brisbane Vocal Jazz Festival, paying tribute to Blossom Dearie.

Together, Ken and Trina bring their shared passion for jazz to the forefront with their talented lineup of friends: Sam Hewerdine on keys, Aiden Arnold on bass, Steve Fischer on drums, and Jeremy Williamson on trumpet. With Ken on saxes and Trina’s vocals, experience an evening filled with heartfelt music, camaraderie, and the timeless sounds that define jazz.
