Founded by B.G. Williams, Old Mercy Hospital was built in the early 1900s, and opened as a private hospital called Williams Hospital. It became Mercy Hospital a year later.  According to an investigation done at the hospital in 2021, this location had several iterations after becoming Mercy Hospital including a convalescent home, a nursing home, and apartments. It eventually opened its doors as a place where people could stay if they had no home. In 2015, the DEA came in and busted a meth lab and it has been empty since that time as it was deemed to dangerous to allow people to continue sleeping inside.
