In the emotionally charged musical, 50,000 Watts, we follow the tumultuous journey of a young man ripped from his vibrant childhood in downtown Brooklyn. The abrupt relocation to the Midwest leaves an indelible scar, fostering deep-seated anger and bitterness that fester throughout his formative years. Without direction, he spirals into the grips of addiction, his life a chaotic maelstrom of regret and resentment. For much of this journey, his true salvation was always right in front of him, a constant presence he refused to take notice of.

Upon his return to New York City, and just as he seems lost to despair, a beacon of hope emerges in the form of true love, in meeting his first wife. he would also find his calling within the ranks of the New York City Police Department. The uniform becomes more than just a job; it's a redemption, a way to reclaim the sense of purpose and belonging that was stolen from him as a boy.

However, life's trials are far from over. He endures the profound grief of losing his beloved spouse, a blow that shatters his world anew. Yet, through it all, his resilience shines, and he ultimately finds love again, a testament to the enduring power of hope and the human spirit.

As a member of the NYPD, he faces the unimaginable horrors of 9/11, a day that forever marks him, forging an even deeper connection to the city he had been so cruelly torn from. Amidst the chaos and pain, he discovers another outlet for his emotions and a source of solace: his voice. He becomes a powerful singer and soloist with The Brooklyn Tabernacle Choir, as well as with the New York City Police Dept. His performance resonates with the raw honesty of his life's experiences, a testament to the healing power of music and faith.

50,000 Watts is more than a rock opera. It is a powerful saga of loss, addiction, love, and redemption, underscoring how, even when unseen, faith was his constant companion, guiding him toward ultimate peace.
