Featuring a fast-paced, wildly funny and touching book by Rachel Sheinkin and a truly fresh and vibrant score by William Finn, this bee is one unforgettable experience.

An eclectic group of six mid-pubescents vie for the spelling championship of a lifetime. While candidly disclosing hilarious and touching stories from their home lives, the tweens spell their way through a series of (potentially made-up) words, hoping never to hear the soul-crushing, pout-inducing, life un-affirming "ding" of the bell that signals a spelling mistake. Six spellers enter; one speller leaves a champion! At least the losers get a juice box.

How did you like the event?

   I had no idea what to expect upon seeing this show because I had never even heard of it until now. It is officially my favorite show I have ever seen second only to Wicked. The direction and choreography was brilliant, the actors and character choices were perfect, and the audience participation was hilarious. Everyone should be extremely proud of this masterpiece they created and I will always remember this show with immense joy. Thank you for this unforgettable experience

 This show was hilarious and the cast was amazing! I laughed almost the whole 2 hours. I would recommend everyone see this show.

How did you like the event?

   It was a great show! Very funny with strong performances by the cast, and made extra funny by the audience involvement. We traveled an hour to be there, and it was definitely worth the trip.

   Everyone was perfectly cast. The singing voices were pitch perfect, the acting was sincere and vulnerable and the comedic timing was on point. Sorry I couldn't say hi to the cast after the show. I have overtime today and needed to get home early. Love you all! -Luke Swierczek
