The Producing Unit presents

154 & Paradise

Who Among Us is Guilty?

Written by Gerald DiPego
Directed by Peter Frisch

September 22-30, 2023

With a hearty dose of magical realism, DiPego paints a portrait of a group of people called together by a mysterious Examiner to investigate the connection they may have had to an accident at 154 & Paradise which results in the death of a man.

"When you get to the corner of 154 & Paradise at Center Stage Theater there are fireworks galore, and a final twist keeps the audience guessing all the way to the end of the road” ~ Charles Donalan, Independent, 1/28/2015

How did you like the event?

Loved it. Powerful intriguing script. All the actors were great and played their individual parts with perfection. This play held me spell bound from beginning to end. One of the best I have seen at Center Stage Theater. It should go on Broadway.

This play was so entertaining and thought-provoking. I went to support my daughter, who was working backstage. I was pleasantly surprised with how much I enjoyed the play!

How did you like the event?

I enjoyed your play. Except for the foul language, specifically the excessive use of "God", "Jesus", and "Christ" OVER 45 TIMES!!!!!

How did you like the event?

154 & Paradise is a play with a profound message. The rich script is performed by an ensemble of talented actors. It is perfect for Center Stage, a n intimate black box theater, especially as “the 4th wall” is so cleverly employed in this play.

How did you like the event?

We are fans of the author’s work, and this play did not disappoint. Mr. DiPego is a master of plot twists and surprise. We were so pleased to see this play because we missed the first run. We also thought the actors did an admirable job of portraying their characters. This was opening night, so it would be fun to come back to a later performance to see what tweaks, if any, the director and author apply to the production.
