Welcome to Almost, Maine, a town that’s so far north, it’s almost not in the United States—it’s almost in Canada. And it almost doesn’t exist. Because its residents never got around to getting organized. So it’s just…Almost.

One cold, clear Friday night in the middle of winter, while the northern lights hover in the sky above, Almost’s residents find themselves falling in and out of love in the strangest ways. Knees are bruised. Hearts are broken. Love is lost, found, and confounded. And life for the people of Almost, Maine will never be the same.

 Review: Nunsense, August 13, 2022, 7:30 PM - Love this play. Thanks for miking up all performers. Appreciated the ‘surround’ performance! We have seen this play a couple times in the past and always enjoy it! Sometimes I wish there was closed caption in parts. Too bad y’all don’t have a video screen showing what the performers are doing behind us; it’s hard to turn your head around like the girl in the Exorcist! Ha! Ha

   Some of the actors did a great job, however one spook too fast and mumbled her words so we could not understand them. Brandon should have done a better job teaching her how to project her words, Over all the play was enjoyable

   The last two acts were not as enjoyable although we enjoyed the diversity of the actors abilities to perform many different roles.

  We really liked the play, but as always, even though we were sitting in the 4th row, we both had trouble hearing many of the lines. Being older, some of this is normal, but we have always felt that those being trained in theater performance here in LC are hamstrung when it comes to projecting their voices - they should be taught to project their voices to the back row of the theater.
