Three love stories, a murder mystery, and a nuclear espionage plot converge in this noir comedy about marriage and other explosive devices. It’s 1952: America’s on the verge of the H-bomb, Dwight Eisenhower’s on the campaign trail, and I Love Lucy’s on Monday nights. Meanwhile, Senator Joe McCarthy’s daughter just got engaged to a Soviet spy, and Boston detective Maggie Pelletier has to find out who dumped the dead guy in the Harbor—or else lose out on a honeymoon in Havana. A blunt-nosed, sharp-eyed look at love and tying (and untying, and retying) the knot.

 Players were great for an opening night - never saw the twist coming at the end either!!!! Very fun engaging audience that night too which made it even better!

How did you like the event?

   Again a lot of sexual scenes, choppy flow of story and transitions/set a bit much and cumbersome. With all the players, set seemed clutter and constant set changes distracted at times from all the different scenerios one was trying to keep track of.

How did you like the event?

      It's a very condusive playhouse with good acoustics and comfortable seating. The play was very funny and the acting was vey good. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience. I especially liked the interaction between the FBI agent and the cop.

     Oh my gosh, this was hysterically funny!! The casting was great, especially considering everyone is a volunteer. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience there!

How did you like the event?

   This was our first visit to your playhouse. We very much enjoyed the play, especially the performances by the actresses who played Lynn and the owner of the dress shop. The only concern we had was the presence of the loud rock music before the play and during the intermission. We would have preferred no music at all. However, if music must be played, we would prefer something a little more sedate, ie. Chopin or Schubert. All in all, we very much enjoyed the performance.
