About Kilconly Bingo
Kilconly Bingo is a weekly community bingo event organised to support local projects and initiatives in and around Kilconly.
The bingo is operated by Kilconly Community Enterprise Company Limited by Guarantee, a registered Irish company and charity (Charity Registration Number 20206965). Everything we do is on a not-for-profit basis, with all proceeds used to benefit the local community.
Our Purpose
The purpose of Kilconly Bingo is simple:
to raise funds that support community development, local facilities, and activities within our area.
After prizes and reasonable operating costs are paid, all funds raised are reinvested back into community projects.
No profits are distributed to individuals, and the bingo is overseen by a voluntary board and committee working on behalf of the community.
How Our Bingo Works
Kilconly Bingo is a weekly community bingo event which may be broadcast online, allowing participants to follow the live bingo call remotely.
Players obtain bingo books in advance and may join us for the live session, which is conducted during an open online meeting.
Numbers are randomly generated and announced one at a time by a live bingo caller, and participants mark their own bingo cards as the numbers are called.
Each bingo book contains multiple games played during the evening, with a mixture of regular prizes and jackpot games.
Optional extras such as additional bingo pages (commonly known as flyers) and raffles may also be available, however participation in these is always optional.
Full details of how the bingo operates, including prize structures and jackpot rules, are clearly set out in our published Bingo Rules.
Fairness and Transparency
We place a strong emphasis on fairness and transparency.
• All bingo sessions are conducted live
• Prize rules are published in advance
• Multiple winners share prizes in accordance with the rules
• Clear records are maintained for verification
Our goal is to make sure everyone understands how the bingo works and feels confident taking part.
Responsible Participation
Kilconly Bingo is intended as a community fundraising activity, not a means of financial gain.
Participation is restricted to persons aged 18 years or over, and we encourage everyone to take part responsibly and only obtain bingo books or tickets they can comfortably afford.
Regulation and Compliance
Kilconly Bingo operates in accordance with Irish law, including the Gaming and Lotteries Act 1956 as currently in force.
We actively monitor regulatory developments and are committed to complying with the licensing framework introduced by the Gambling Regulatory Authority of Ireland as it becomes applicable.
