Imagine Performing Arts is a Calgary-based not-for-profit organization dedicated to providing opportunities for artists, musicians and technicians of ALL AGES to grow.

With a focus on working with artists of all ages and stages of their careers, Imagine Performing Arts is focused on the production of multidisciplinary work, expanding artistic boundaries, strengthening our community and supporting the development of our City's theatre artists.  But - above all, for Imagine, it’s about authenticity of performance and telling compelling stories.

       Totally accessible tickets and was treated with curtesy upon arrival! One suggestion/positive feedback if I may: dress the part. In other words if you want your patrons to take your performances as classy upscale affairs, show them with your example by receiving them dressed in classy upscale attire! It sets the tone! After all, teach, teach, teach and sometimes use words! 😉

     The information regarding the tickets I purchased was confusing. There were two different directions as to what one needed when arriving. One indicated that you could show it on your phone, as through the receipt of an emailing if the tickets. But another stated that one must have a printed copy in order to be allowed access onsite. Very confusing and a waste of paper. Why add this when the option for phone use if indicated?

       The venue is intimate and familiar. Tickets were easy to book. Both senior actors were warm and believable. Sandy Lucas (Winnie) was by far my favourite character in the ensemble. Her expressions of glee while other actors quarreled were so entertaining! You could see her eyes sparkle from the middle rows. It was easy to relax into her performance.

       Unfortunately, due to the road conditions we were unable to make it to the show. I did think the service charges were very high and was surprised to see another optional, charge for ticket exchanges and refunds. We probably would not get tickets to a future show because of the high service charges and the need to "insure" tickets.

         On-line data entry of credit card data was confusing. Booking fee is outrageous since there seems to be no other option which means the ticket price is really much higher. Not sure how to indicate this review is finished and submit it..
